Swift Walk around Minchinhampton

Swifts make a remarkable 5,000km journey every year to the UK’s shores from central Africa to breed.

Every day, each pair will gather up to 20,000 insects to feed their chicks.

They live their lives almost exclusively on the wing (that is, flying).

This is your chance to join Stroud Valleys Project and local swift expert John Crowther, who will take you on a guided walk around Minchinhampton, spotting Swifts in flight and identifying their nesting sites.

This event is suitable for wheelchair users. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets: £7/adult; £3 per child
